Lady Gaga Takes Top Spot On All-time UK Downloads Chart

The top 100 downloads of all-time have been announced by the UK Official Charts Company. UMG's Lady Gaga takes two of the top three positions; #1 and #3 with "Poker Face" and "Just Dance" (respectively).

The UK Official Charts Company class "all-time" as being since its download records began in September 2004. "Poker Face" saw massive sales of 779,000 and "Just Dance" follows with 700,000.

Of the Top 100 listed, 46 songs are from 2008 and 21 from 2009. This is compared to three from 2004, two from 2005, 13 from 2006 and 15 from 2007.

International music and fashion sensation Lady Gaga will be appearing at London's HMV's Oxford Circus flagship store on Tuesday, September 8th to celebrate the launch of her own very special product in conjunction with audio-visual equipment experts Monster Cable. Gaga is working with Monster to bring together fashion, music and technology in an exciting new way proving that sound really does matter.

A launch event in Berlin took place on September 7th and one in Paris will take place on September 9th.
