Kevin Rudolf to Headline "Let It Rock Tour" In April
Cash Money’s Kevin Rudolf will be headlining the Let It Rock Tour presented by Live Nation. The tour kicks off on April 3rd in Nashville, TN – ticket sales starting on February 26th and general public sales starting the next day through www.livenation.com. This will be Kevin Rudolf's first U.S. headlining tour, which will feature such supporting musical talent as Hyper Crush, Cash Cash, The Audition and Go Crash Audio.
Rudolf is responsible for such recent radio hits as his song, which shares the name of his upcoming tour, "Let It Rock." The hit song features one of hip-hops biggest names, Lil Wayne, and was the first single from Rudolf’s Cash Money/Universal Republic debut album – IN THE CITY. Its popularity was fueled by Rudolf’s incredible guitar play and hip-hop inspired beats; the success of "Let It Rock" can be seen through its strong position atop a number of music charts – including the #1 position on the iTunes chart.
In fact Entertainment Weekly went so far as to call “Let It Rock,” an “infectious debut that mixes his rap-track know-how with his love of guitar-god theatrics.” His critical acclaim is not limited to Entertainment Weekly, but extends to many other entertainment commentators. Their reviews are justified by the fact that Rudolf’s song and his album have come forward as a multi-platform sensation – with 2.5 million downloads on iTunes thus far, and his video (featuring Lil Wayne) approaching the 2 million views mark on youtube.
Kevin Rudolf, who had previously collaborated with some of music’s biggest names (including: Justin Timberlake, Lil Kim, Lil Wayne, LL Cool J, Black Eyed Peas, David Banner and more), is now preparing to take the position as front man. With his drive and his musical talent, this venture is sure to be a successful one.
